Education

  • 1980 B.Sc. in Biology from the National University of Athens, Greece.
  • 1990 Ph.D. degree in Marine and Population Biology from the University of Crete, Greece.

Professional Experience

  • 1985 - to date. Participation and coordination of research projects carried out by the Genetics Department of the Institute of Marine Biology of Crete and the Laboratory of Evolutionary Genetics of the University of Crete.

Other relevant activities

Member of the Scientific Council of IMBC (1995 - to date). Head of the Department of Genetics and Molecular Biotechnology of IMBC.
