• 1991 - 1993 : M.Sc. in Marine Biology (ecology of benthic meiofauna and nematoda), University of Crete, Greece.
• 1994 - 2001: Ph.D. studies in Marine Biology (ecology of shallow and deep sea meiofauna and nematode assemblages), University of Crete, Greece.
