• 1984: B.Sc. in Biology from the Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
• 1992: Ph.D. degree in Marine Biology from the Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

Professional Experience

• 1985 - to date. Participation and coordination of research national and international projects carried out by: the Department of Zoology of the Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki (1985-1991); the Department of Biology of the University of Crete (1988-1990); the Department of Agriculture Crop and Animal Production of the University of Thessalia (1990-1992); the Department of Marine Environment of the Institute of Marine Biology of Crete (1994-present); the Department of Marine Science of the University of Aegean (1999-present).
