Jar testers are designed to test the efficiency of flocculation or preceipitation reagents. The single motor drives all positions at a constant stirring speed. Stirring rod shafts can individually be stopped and height can be adjusted while the system is operating. Choose from laboratory or portable tester models.
Laboratory Jar Testers are available with either four or six positions with a digital display that shows stirring speed and time. Stirring speed is programmable from 10 to 300 rpm, and time from 1 to 999 minutes or 0 to 99 hours. Featuring an illuminated back panel for enhanced visibility. Laboratory units require standard 2-L beakers (order separately,34512-13 4/pk).
Portable Jar Tester is available in a space saving 4-position model with stirring positions around a central lamp. Set stirring speed mechanically to 20, 40, 50, 100 or 120 rpm, and set time for 1 to 30 minutes. Central lamp makes it easier to observe flocculation process. Portable tester requires 1-L beakers (order separately, 34512-11 6/pk).
