For applications such as Standard Method Coliform Testing, general bacteriological testing, incubation, sample tempering, and routine laboratory use. This circulating bath is designed specifically for fecal coliform contamination testing, which is an indicator of E. Coli microorganisms and other pathogens presence. It is preset at 44.5°C temperature to comply with the EPA Total Coliform Rule (TCR) requirement.

Designed specifically for coliform testing, this lab-friendly circulating bath features the digital controller as shown on page 139 for the PolyScience® immersion circulators. This highly intuitive, easy-to-use controller makes it simple to set commonly used coliform test temperatures, such as 44.5, 45.5, 41.5, and 35.0°C, or other temperatures from ambient +10 to 135°C. Bath and set point temperature are simultaneously displayed on a large 2.12 x 3 inch LCD readout.

For operational convenience, this bath is equipped with a tilting, see-through polycarbonate cover which drains back into the bath when opened. The lid is gabled to allow for taller vessels. The port in the top deck to accommodate an optional tap-water cooling coil, and an integral 1-speed (simplex) pump which can be used to circulate the bath liquid to other instruments using a closed-loop configuration. For added safety and durability, the bath features a precision molded phenolic top deck that remains cooler at high temperatures and is easily cleaned and disinfected. All wetted components are corrosion-resistant stainless steel and high-performance polymer.
