Perform rapid and efficient cell disruption on your smallest samples (100 ìL to 1 mL) with this Mini-BeadBeater mill. Complete disruption is achieved in only 1 to 3 minutes within a sealed chamber containing glass or zirconia-silica beads and your tissue or cell suspension. Even unusually tough samples such as bone and microbial spores can be effectively crushed.

Choose a bead size based on your sample type. Optimal bead size is 1.0 mm for plant and animal tissue; 0.5 mm for yeast, algae, and tissue culture cells; and 0.1 mm for bacteria and spores.Note: beads are sold separately at right.
