ACCRA LAB® gram stain reagents offer purity, stability, and superior quality. These gram stains eliminate interference from background staining, producing brilliantly stained specimens. Manufactured according to traditional formulations that are used by most laboratories. Decolorizer is an acetone/isopropanol (1:4) mixture. All stains are packaged in polyethylene containers. Store at controlled room temperature; 18-month shelf life.

These sets are designed for staining microorganisms from cultures or specimens by the differential Gram method. Packaged in squeezable bottles. Sets include screw-on dispenser caps.

Gram Stain Set (with stabilized iodine) 14204-20 includes one 250-mL bottle each of stabilized iodine, crystal violet, safranin, and decolorizer.

Gram Stain Set (with traditional iodine) 14204-22 includes one 250-mL bottle each of traditional iodine, crystal violet, safranin, and decolorizer.
