Timers

There are three basic issues with a stopwatch timer. Many users are stumped by how to program, synchronize and consistently use them. Advances in technology have helped to take away some of the uncertainty involved in the stopwatch timer of old. Choosing the best stopwatch timer for your needs should take into consideration ease-of-programming not just ease-of-use. You can select from a variety of units based upon timing modes, timing capacities, count directions, resolution, and accuracy. General -purpose timers can time the length of events with an alarm function for your laboratory. Timers are available in several styles, including analog, digital general-purpose, digital multiple-channel, digital keypad style, special- purpose models, and controllers. Controllers provide daily and weekly on/off control, just plug into an outlet and it will automatically switch equipment on and off per program. These products depended upon a number of channels, timing capacity, resolution, accuracy, count directions, display, clock feature, and alarm. All are available with NIST-traceable calibration with data for a timer (Catalog number 17060-00).
