Thermo-Dynamic steam trap for clean applications
The tight shut-off prevents valuable steam from being wasted
Cost effective, compact design makes them ideal for drainage of steam mains, steam tracing lines, and small process equipment where size and efficient operation are important.
Discharge from Thermo-Dynamic (TD) traps is close to steam temperature—steam space is kept free from condensate.
Constructed of stainless steel, TD traps withstand superheat, waterhammer, freezing, corrosive condensate, and vibration.
Note:
Minimum pressure for satisfactory operation is 3.5 psig. Maximum back pressure should not exceed 80% of the inlet pressure under any conditions of operation, otherwise the trap may not shut.
Made of 316L stainless steel for aggressive condensate found in clean steam systems.
