A cleanroom cleaner may seem like an oxymoron but such rooms have a unique sanitary standard that most other spaces couldn’t dream of living up to. For example, a single strand of human hair is about 200 times larger than the particle which caused the famous Hubble Telescope to malfunction. So a cleanroom cleaner is essential to keeping such controlled environments operating without costly and devastating delays. When you are selecting the perfect cleanroom cleaner you need to look for products that eliminate the main enemies of restricted environments: airborne particles, fiber, static and residue left by other cleaning products. The particles float from people, products, places and equipment. Since you can’t eliminate those items, look for products with nonvolatile residue (NVR) which are usually in common cleaning products. Make sure your cleanroom cleaner comes to you in sterile packaging. The last thing you want is to bring contamination into your controlled environment through your cleanroom cleaner.
