Panel Meters

Digital panel meters can mean efficiency and convenience for any laboratory. Though analog meters are still popular many labs are finding digital panel meters to go beyond their expectations. Digital panel meters display temperature, pressure, voltage, current and other signals from sensing equipment. Digital displays feature single-or-dual-line readings depending on how many inputs the digital panel can accommodate. To control or send a signal to other process instruments, many panel meters feature outputs or relays. Panel meters can be wall mounted or panel mounted. They are designed to save space without sacrificing performance. Many displays will change color to signal the process is out of the necessary range set during programming. Panel meters can be powered voltage or by loop-power. Loop-powered meters are powered by the 4 to 20 mA signal that is being sent from the transmitter measuring the specific parameter being displayed, no additional power is required.
