Mops

Cleanroom mops are specialty tools and require special care when purchasing. Cleanroom mops are built for specific applications. Both the head and the handle are constructed as such. Cleanroom mops are used to clean controlled environment walls and floors. Mops have low contamination characteristics and should be laundered and packaged in order to avoid static, residue, and particulates. Handles can be steel coated with white polyester to ensure completely corrosion resistance. Choosing the right mop head is important as well. You want to make sure the head is compatible with disinfectants commonly used in controlled environments. Some lab managers like the cleanroom mops with a knitted head made from tubular polyester for its sturdiness. Others like mop heads that do not include adhesives to clean not only the floor but the walls as well. But there are also handheld roll mops which have adhesive coating to remove lint and dirt from plastic, metal and glass.
