These gas sterilizer systems use 100% Ethylene Oxide (EtO) to safely sterilize delicate items that heat and moisture can damage. EtO sterilizers operate at room temperature and atmospheric pressure—safe for electronics, fiber optics, cameras, and plastic or rubber items such as tubing. Sterilizers feature a combination of ventilation and purge systems ensuring that EtO exposure levels are below OSHA prescribed limits. The advanced purge system allows for items to be aerated in the sterilization cabinet for two hours at the end of a cycle and will continue indefinitely until items are removed.
Sterilizers use unique plastic liner bags and individual gas ampoules. Two sizes of bag/ampoule combinations are available to match the size of the load—never use more gas than you need to. Since sterilizer systems use only small amounts of EtO gas, they meet all EPA requirements without the need for expensive abatement equipment. A dedicated exhaust line to the outside for the outlet hose is all that is required. Order outlet hose separately under “Accessories” at right. Sterilizer systems include everything necessary for the sterilization process, including biological and chemical indicators for verifying the sterility and EtO exposure of items. Sterilizers are available in two sizes—choose the
long model for handling larger items.
