AIM600 Programmable Digestion Systems

Eliminate the need for repetitive small batch digestions with these compact block digestion systems. These systems can handle sample batches of 28 or 50 at a time. Run your digest overnight and have a full batch of digested samples ready for analysis at the start of the next day. The temperature of each digestion position is tightly regulated and controlled, ensuring that all the samples in each batch are digested equally. Store up to nine different programs, each with up to forty steps, for automating the most complex digestion procedures, allowing reproducibility from batch to batch, operator to operator. Controlled heating rates, as low as 1°C per minute, protect against the bumping and splattering of reactive samples.

A built in safety cut-out feature within the controller is triggered automatically if the programmed temperature is exceeded by 30°C or if the maximum set temperature is exceeded. The controller is separate from the digestion block, protecting the electronics and the operator from any digest acid fumes. Apart from the power and reagents, these block digestion systems have no ongoing
consumable costs and do not use any limited life components.
